March 23
Georgetown, Exumas

Back in Georgetown, we made quick work of sending off the depth sounder and found an anchorage near Stocking Island to be protected from the winds that blew 25-35 knots for a few days. There are still over 250 boats here and finding an anchorage with good holding away from other boats took a couple of attempts, but finally, now that Regatta is over, one was found near the volleyball beach. As soon as the wind dies down, I’ll get in a few games as there is never a lack of volleyball players. I find that without some exercise, I end up with a stiff neck and dull scenes for my screenplay.
