Georgetown, Exumas   Latitude 23° 30.6N - Longitude 75° 45.75W

Well, finally made it to Georgetown.  Although the goal was to get here by sail, the wind during most days seemed to be 'on-the-nose' (from the direction we were headed) so after beating to windward for a few days with poor results zig-zagging, we motored the remaining 13 miles into Georgetown.   It is an amazing sight this time of year seeing the beautiful harbor in all its glory along with hundreds of boats lining Stocking Island as well as the Georgetown coast.  Dinked into the 'Pond' around which the main city is built, to get the lay of the land.  I'm sure I'll have lots more to report from here.  Took the morning to work on the screenplay, knowing that this afternoon will be filled with fun errands like laundry, finding gas for the dink, and finding an internet café that will let me download.
